Rovers see off Bohs

Shamrock Rovers moved three points clear at the top of the Premier Division with a 3-0 triumph over struggling Wexford Bohs on Sunday.

Seán Wildes, Emmett Quirke and Ricky Fox got the goals for the Enniscorth­y outfit.

Champions Moyne Rangers twice came from behind to earn a share of the spoils away to Rosslare Rangers, with Lee Devereux and Jason Pettit scoring for the seasiders in the 2-2 draw and James Peare and Lenny Connolly replying.

Courtown Hibs moved into third spot with a 1-0 win over Cloughbawn, with Des Wolohan grabbing the all-important goal.

Leaders North End United maintained their four-point advantage at the top of Division 1 with a 2-1 win over St. Cormac’s on Sunday.

Paul Murphy (Kilmore) and Warren Broaders scored for the Wexford town side, while Liam Walsh hit the back of the net for the saints.

Second-placed Moyne Rangers also picked up three points, with Daithi O’Mahony and Dale Donohoe getting their goals in a 2-1 away win over Tombrack. Jamie

Corach Ramblers leapfrogge­d Ferns United into third spot with a 4-2 away win over their rivals. Niall Harney contribute­d a hat-trick for the visitors, with Conor Anglim also getting in on the act and Ian Byrne and Jonny Dwyer replying.

Adamstown overcame New Ross Town 4-2, with goals from Ian White (two), Conor Hickey and Daithi White, with Jack Foran and Dawidd Ruszczycki scoring for Town.

Raheen moved to the summit of the Division 2 table with 3-0 away win over Gorey Rangers on Sunday.

Mervyn Moloney, Enda Wickham and Frank Staples all hit the back of the net for the new leaders.

St. Leonards are just a point behind after overcoming Enniscorth­y United 4-1 with goals from Seán ‘Mini’ Ryan, Fintan Ryan, Donal Kiely and Shane Ryan.

Curracloe United made it six wins from seven with a 2-0 triumph away to Rosslare Port, with Conor Hearne and Colin Cleary getting their goals.

Taghmon United held top spot going into the weekend but they were beaten 3-2 in Crossabeg, with Cian Doyle and Davie Fenlon (two) scoring for the winners.
