-

ALL are invited to Kilmuckridge Memorial Hall for this year’s Kilmuckridge pantomime ‘Adventure to Chaos’, which will see a local cast help Santa Clause get back on track in time for Christmas.

It takes place nightly from 8 p.m., starting on Thursday, 12, and finishing on Sunday, Deceember Sunday at 6 p.m. December 15, with a matinee show on

The story sees Santa kidnapped to the planet of Chaos, and the characters of the dame and the captain have to go on an adventure to rescue him as it is most important that he makes it back for Christmas Eve in time for his own journey around the world.

Councillor Mary Farrell said that there is a cast of 15, as well as 50 young children in the chorus, with a total of 75 locals involved on stage, and that there has been three months of rehearsals in preparation.

‘The panto fosters the talent in Kilmuckridge and young people experience what it’s like to take part in a production like this, being part of a team and the commitment involved and then they see the end results.

‘It has been a fantastic three months of preparations, and the panto always creates an atmosphere in the village,’ she said.

All at the Kilmuckridge Panto would like to thank the backstage crew, wardrobe, make-up, lights and the cast.

The last number of tickets are still available through cast members, by texting Ellie Dempsey on 087 2353890 or by messaging the page on Facebook.
