Christmas Eve Mass: Ballyoughter at 6 p.m. Ballycanew at 8 p.m.

Christmas Day December 25: Mass Ballyoughter 9.45 a.m. Ballycanew 11.30 a.m.

BALLYCANEW NS REUNION

Ballycanew National School is celebrating 50years of the opening of its doors on its current site this year. There will be a celebratory evening of reunion on Saturday, December 28, at 7 p.m. in the school. Mass of Thanksgiving celebrating 50years in St Moling’s Church at 6 p.m. Past pupils, currents pupils and the community are invited to join the celebrations. We would like any old photographs and stories from any time over the last 50years, these can be emailed to secretary@ballycanewns.ie or dropped to the school office. These will be returned to you. Please spread the word. It promises to be a night of reminiscing and catching up with old school mates. Refreshments on the night.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratulations to Saturday, December 14, winner, Catherine Kavanagh, Ballyoughterm – prize money was €235. Aislinn Medd (€25 Tina’s), Kathleen Parry (€25 Glanbia) and Mary Ryan (€25 Brooks). Congratulations. Thanks to everyone for their continue support.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

County Wexford Community Workshop will hold a church gate collection in Ballycanew on Saturday the 28th and Sunday, December 29. And in Ballyoughter on Sunday, December 29. All money collected will stay in the workshop to benefit all the special needs adults that attend this fantastic workshop, Your support is as ever very greatly appreciated.

Enrollment now being taken for September 2019 for Ballyoughter National School. Expression of interest forms also available for September 2020 intake. If you would like to enroll your child for the coming year or put your name on file for September 2020 contact the office at 053 938200 Tuesday – Thursday 9.15-1.30 or leave a message any day and an enrollment form or expression of interest form will be issued to you. If you are new to the area or deciding about schools and want to pop in to meet us or see the school just let us know.

Gorey bus links timetable, six days a week. Outbound Monday to Saturday Ballycanew Roundabout 9.23 a.m., Return Ballycanew Roundabout 1.48 p.m. and 5.48 p.m. Free Travel Pass accepted and Single Fare €5.
