Gorey Rangers hit double figures SCHOOLGIRL­S’ SOCCER

THE UNDER-12 league is beginning to take shape, and one more round of games will see the teams being graded and placed in their relevant divisions for the remainder of the season.

Gorey Rangers are looking very impressive and will definitely be a contender for the Premier title. They overcame a young Tombrack side comfortabl­y with goals from Grace Beasley (four), Rebecca Keating (three), Lucy Flanagan (two) and Róisín Redmond.

Bridge Rovers made the journey to Forth Celtic and picked up their second win of the season as they overcame the home side 2-1. Aoibheann Clarke scored for Celtic, while Chynna Sambou and Keira Carroll were on target for Rovers.

Two goals from Sinéad Jones saw New

Ross Celtic beat Seaview United 2-0, while All Blacks confirmed their place in the Premier division, recording their fifth win in a row as they defeated Corach Ramblers 5-0. Jolie Rankin scored a hat-trick, with Ava Wallace adding two goals.

In the Under-16 Premier Division, Bunclody leapfrogge­d opponents Adamstown to go top of the table, winning 4-0, with Grace Smith scoring her first goal for the club to add to an Amy Shannon hat-trick.

All Blacks moved into the top half as they overcame Seaview United by the odd goal in three, with Molly O’Shea on target for Seaview while Katie Kearns and Aisling Roche responded for All Blacks.

In Division 1/2, Courtown Hibs and Gorey Rangers played out a very competitiv­e 1-1 draw, with Lara Kinsella scoring for Rangers but Leah Gammell levelled for Hibs five minutes later.

Two goals from Sophie Kirwan had St. Joseph’s 2-0 up at half-time away to New Ross Town, but a second-half resurgence saw the home side come back to win 3-2. Two goals from Ella Nolan and one from Aoibh Thomas saw Town record their third win of the season.

All Blacks’ second team proved too strong for Bree United, running out 5-0 winners with Aoibheann Rankin scoring four to add to a goal from Sinéad Cullen.

The Under-18 league is also almost ready to be graded into divisions as both Forth Celtic and North End recorded wins over the weekend.

Two goals from Sarah O’Donoghue saw Celtic overcome Curracloe 2-1, with Rebecca Fanning on target for the seasiders.

North End made it three wins from three games as they beat St. Leonards 4-1.
