Ferns Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes the annual diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from May 9 to May 14.
Each year, we run a parish lottery draw to select a person to represent the parish of Craanford-Monaseed. Entry to the lottery costs €10 and is available before and after Masses in Craanford this weekend and for the next few weekends. The winning entry will be drawn at 10.30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, February 9. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Visitation of the sick and Housebound: We are anxious to visit those who cannot celebrate Mass with us due to illness, handicap or age. Arrangements to receive the sacraments at home can be made by calling Fr Richard or Fr Felix. Kindly notify us of parishioners who are housebound or hospitalised so they can be visited. We are always pleased also to receive invitations to visit your home or to give a house blessing.

Strictly 2020 is up and running. A word of thanks to all our dancers who have being so generous with their commitment towards this project. We are running a table quiz on Friday, January 31, in Cooney’s, Hollyfort at 9 p.m. Table of four: €40. Spread the word, bring a friend. Want fire wood, win a trailer full of logs for €2 a line or three lines for €5. Lines will also be on sale on the night in Hollyfort.
The hugely popular ‘Ireland Lights Up’ walking initiative has returned in partnership with the GAA, Operation Transformation, and Get Ireland Walking. Lights are on at the pitch in the evening, so we invite you to avail of the opportunity and encourage you to get out walking.
National Club Draw tickets will be on sale shortly and we thank you for your support. All proceeds from this draw are reinvested back into the club. Tickets are €10.
