KILLENAGH WANDERERS AFC

A Kids Soccer Academy, takes place every Saturday from 11 to 1.15 p.m. This academy is for girls and boys aged five, six, seven, eight, and nine and has indoor and outdoor facilities. Registrati­on is €20, with cost of €2 per training session. Please feel free to drop by on the day or contact Noel at 089 4299677. Search Killenagh on Google Maps for our location.

The lotto draw jackpot is now €7,300, and no winner was drawn on January 20. The numbers picked were 5, 16, 17 and 21. The next draw took place last night (Monday, January 27) in the Schooner in Ballygarre­tt.

BALLYGARRE­TT TIDY TOWNS

Crafty Thursday is back in the Wishing Well, starting Thursday, January 16, from 9.15 a.m.

Whether you want to make a pom pom rug, garland or pom pom Easter wreath, the list is endless. Workshop presented by Wendy.

Participan­ts should bring along wool and cardboard to get started. A decision on what you want to make can be made after the first get-together.

Come along for a chat and a cuppa; it’s free to attend.

GOREY BUS LINKS NEW TIMETABLE

Gorey bus links now runs three times a day, six days a week. Outbound Monday to Saturday, Ballygarre­tt Schooner – 9.35 a.m., Return Ballygarre­tt, Peigs Bar, September-June: 1.36 p.m., Evening service all year: 5.36 p.m. Free Travel Pass accepted and single fare is €5.

BRIDGE CLUB

Come play bridge in Seán Óg’s Kilmuckrid­ge Bridge Club, Upton Court Hotel, Kilmuckrid­ge, on Thursday mornings at 9.50 a.m. for a 10 a.m. start. No partner needed as we operate a joker system. We also play on Monday night 6.50 p.m. for a 7 p.m. start, partner required.
