Poulpeasty Women’s Group A ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing Programme’ is starting in Poulpeasty Hall on Feburary three at 7.30 p.m. These ‘Five ways to Wellbeing’ have been used worldwide by both young and old to help people take action to improve their wellbeing. The five ways to well-being are to connect, be active, Take notice, keep learning, and give. The programme encompasse­s all of these and will be fun and interestin­g to all who attend. Members free, non-members €10 for the programme. New members welcome. Membership is €20.

CAMROSS DRAMA GROUP

A date for your diaries, Camross Drama group will preform the classic John B Keane play ‘The Year of the Hiker’ in Clonroche Community Centre on Saturday, February 8, and Sunday, February 9. Tickets are €10 and show will start at 8 p.m. a great nights entertainm­ent is in store, so come along and support the group.

CLOUGHBAWN GAA CLUB

Cloughbawn GAA Club is coming on board with ‘Operation Transforma­tion’ and the GAA for this year’s Ireland Lights Up initiative. Every Thursday from January 9 to February 27 our club walking track will be open and lit up for you, your family and friends to come and walk between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. We want everyone to come and join us for Ireland Lights Up 2020 on Thursday nights the aim is to make exercise more accessible on these dark winter nights and to offer our community an opportunit­y to get together and socialise in a healthy way. Both members and non-members are welcome to come to this event.

The winner of last week’s splitthe-pot drawn in the Boro Inn was Danielle Kehoe, Canon Murphy Park. The pot was €238 Thanks to all who support Split the Pot.
