CONFIRMATION IN KILTEALY
History will be made in Kiltealy this year when Confirmation will be held in the Church of SS Patrick and Cecilia, Kiltealy for the first time. Pupils from Kiltealy and Caim schools will be confirmed in Kiltealy Church while pupils from Ballindaggin school will be confirmed in St Colman’s Church, Ballindaggin as usual.
Both ceremonies will be held on May 22 the change comes due to the increasing number of children for Confirmation especially from Ballindaggin school. It will also be a great occasion for bishop Denis Brennan, who will have the honour of administering the sacrament in his native KIltealy.
