Hannah hits hat-trick in U-12 clash

AUGHRIM RANGERS picked up their third Under-12 win of the season when overcoming one of the league title favourites, Ballindaggin, on a 3-1 scoreline.

Emily Roban was on target for Ballindaggin, but two goals from Emma Kirwan and one from Ava Stapleton saw the Wicklow side take all three points in this Region A game.

In Region B, Adamstown and Forth Celtic played out a scoreless but entertaining draw, with both sides creating chances but defences dominated.

In Region C, Ross Town overcame Ross Celtic 4-1 in their local derby, with Hannah Carney scoring a hat-trick while Ria Madigan also rattled the net.

St. Leonards moved up the table when they came away from Cushinstown 3-0 winners, with Courtney Whelan, Brooke Whitty and Katie Ryan all on target.

In Region D, Fastnet picked up their second win of the season with an exciting 4-1 triumph over Corach Ramblers, with Ella Martin, Emily Martin, Rebecca Feehan and Brooke Robinson all on target for Fastnet, while Róisín Wall scored for Ramblers.

Adamstown sit top of the Under-16 Premier Division after a strong performance in Curracloe saw them record their fourth win of the season on a 5-1 scoreline.

Ellen Duggan and Hannah Kehoe scored two goals each for the visitors, with Chloe Doyle also on target, while Shauna Carroll replied for the home side.

Bunclody made the long journey to Seaview United and are positioned just behind the leaders after a 3-1 win.

Bunclody led 2-0 at the break through Corrie Fitzgerald and Amy Shannon, and they went further ahead in the second-half when Amy’s corner found its way to the back of the net.

Ava White-Keating did pull one back with five minutes to go, but it was too late and the visitors left with the three points.

Bunclody would like to wish Grace Smith the best of luck as she left the club to join the Carlow-Kilkenny Under-17 National League side for the new season.

In Under-16 Division 1/2, St. Joseph’s travelled to All Blacks and came away 4-1 winners, with Ciara Murphy on target for the home side, while Aughrim Rangers proved too strong for Courtown Hibs, winning 5-2.

New Ross Town came away from Bree 6-0 winners thanks to goals from Ella Nolan, Aoife Kielthy, Lauren Bolger, Aoibh Thomas, Gillian La Forge and Molly Brown.
