HEALTHY CLUB PROJECT – Joe Lillis and MJ Furlong were delighted to attend the launch of Phase four of the GAA initiative ‘Healthy Club Project’. This is a project that the GAA has being rolling out across clubs since 2012.

To date 150 GAA clubs across Ireland have been granted Healthy Club status. This is formally recognising the great role that Clubs up and down the country play on an ongoing basis in the community. However, there is much more to do and this project will provide best practices and guidance on promoting wellbeing, offering opportunities for physical activities, social inclusion, and many more initiatives.

Cloughbawn GAA are now enrolling on Phase four along with another 149 Clubs all over Ireland, and look forward to building on the enjoyment, facilities, and services to our members and the greater community.
