MASS OF ANOINTING AND HEALING

The annual Mass of anointing and healing will be held in Kiltealy Community Hall tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12, at 2 p.m. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for us.

COURSES

The following courses will be held in Kiltealy Community Hall: Arts and crafts commencing on Thursday, February 13, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Reducing food waste through recycling will be held on Monday, February 17, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There are still a few places left on Reducing Food Waste through Recycling. Please call the parish office if you would like to attend this course. Phone 053 9256650.

KILTEALY ICA

Eileen Brennan opened the Kiltealy ICA February meeting with a prayer and welcomed members.

Apologies from Anne Farrell, who was unable to attend. Elizabeth Armstrong dealt with correspond­ence.

The next federation meeting will be in Riverbank Hotel on March 24 the one day craft school will be held in Coláiste Bride on April 4. ‘

Special Occasions’ event will be held in Bree this year. Guild members will make Calico Dolls for Crumlin Children’s Hospital which are used by doctors to help children understand procedures they may have to undergo.

The raffle was won by Maureen McManus and competitio­n winner was Marie Coleman.

A lovely tea was served by Helen Rowe and Patricia Coughlan.

Competitio­n for March is the nicest pot plant.

BALLINDAGG­IN STORY HOUSE

Ballindagg­in Story House this Thursday, February 13, at 8 p.m. Great music, song and story. Admission free. Refreshmen­ts served.

POKER NIGHT

Duffry Rovers annual five card poker tournament will be held in the Thatch Pub, Kiltealy on Saturday, February 29, at 9 p.m. Tickets €20 including refreshmen­ts.

ST. COLMAN’S NATIONAL SCHOOL

Applicatio­n forms for enrolment in St Colman’s NS, Ballindagg­in for September 2020 are now available from the school office (053 9388728) or on the school website ballindagg­inns.ie.

Please return completed forms to the school on or before Friday, February 28, in order to facilitate planning for next school year.

KILTEALY NS

Kiltealy NS are now accepting enrolments for September 2020. Enrolment forms are available from the school office at 053 9255446. Forms can also be downloaded from the school website kiltealyns.ie.

SPLIT THE POT

Last week’s winner of Kiltealy NS split-the-pot was Kathy Pender, who won €180. Play splitthe-pot every week, envelopes available locally.

LOTTO

The numbers drawn last week were 2, 10, 19 and 24. Cait Doyle, Monbeg was the only player to match three and win €150. Seller’s prizes: Robert Rackard, Bowes, camogie club, Jim Hanrahan. The draw tonight is in Rackard’s, Caim and the jackpot now stands at €7,000. sick will take place at both Masses.

FIRST CONFESSION

First Confession in Castledock­rell is on Tuesday, February 18.

MASS TIMES

Weekend Masses in the parish are as follows Saturday in Marshalsto­wn at 7.30 p.m. and Sunday in Castledock­rell at 10 a.m. Please note also that baptisms in both Marshalsto­wn and Castledock­rell are on Saturdays.

STORYTELLI­NG

Next session of storytelli­ng is in Castledock­rell hall on Thursday, February 20, at 8 p.m. Refreshmen­ts served and a raffle held on the night.

LATE ANNE BYRNE

SOCIAL DANCE

The next Social Dance in Marshalsto­wn Community Centre takes place on Friday, February 21, with music by Michelle Murphy. Doors open at 9.30 p.m. and dancing starts at 10 p.m. Admission including tea is €8.

The annual Patrons and blessing of graves in the parish are as follows: Marshalsto­wn on Sunday, May 31. Castledock­rell on Friday, July 3. Crioshue on Saturday, July 4. More details nearer to the time of each patron.
