OUTSTANDING FUNDRAISER

Oulart-The Ballagh GAA and camogie club extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in and donated to their recent fundraiser in aid of the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy. All ages took part, by running, walking or cycling over the Bank Holiday weekend, with the intention of covering 1798km.

We are proud to say, that due to the tremendous community spirit within the parish, that goal was greatly exceeded, with 3711.52km being clocked – up and €6,550 being donated, some of it anonymously.

While always adhering to social distancing and abiding by the HSE and government regulations and ‘by staying at home but working together’ GAA and camogie members, their families and friends demonstrated what can be achieved when a community works together on a well-organised project.

We look forward to presenting the cheque to the Hope Cancer Support Centre at the earliest opportunity. Oulart-The Ballagh Abú.
