Unlicensed firearm
A man with a Chinese manufactured gun he bought at a car boot sale was convicted of having an unlicensed firearm.
Jamie Cassin, Ashfield, Tombrack, Ferns, was prosecuted after the 4.5mm weapon was found in a wardrobe at his home. He admitted that it was his, saying that he had spent €80-€90 for it and then used it for target practice.
A fine of €500 was handed down.
