TIDY TOWNS

The Tidy Towns Committee would like to thank everyone who helped and supported the group in the past year, those who look after the flower beds, the Fás Workers for their efforts and everyone who helped out with many other chores, a very sincere to each and all.for your commitment.

We wish everyone a very happy and healthy 2021.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is extended to Betty Kennedy, Moneyribbon on the death of her brother-inlaw Bill Owley, Clonsilla, Gorey, whose burial took place in Limbrick Cemetery, Kilanerin after Mass in St Michael’s Church, Gorey on last Thursday, January 7. Deepest sympathy also to his daughter-in-law Eilis Owley, Knockina, Gorey.

COMMUNITY ALERT

Due to the present circumstances of Covid 19 lockdown, our committee are appealing to everyone in our community to be aware and on the lookout for all our neighbours and community members who may be living alone and need the help of someone in collecting messages or maybe medication or other necessities,

it is very important for everyone to be aware of what is going on around us and to keep your distance and obey the guidelines we are hearing on a regular basis from the media in general. After all that has taken over the last few weeks, it is vitally important that we obey the guidelines and keep our safe distances to avoid any further escalation of the pandemic in our community.

The committee would like to thank all the volunteers who helped out during the past year especially those who delivered food etc in the earlier part of the year which was very much appreciated by all. We wish all our member and helpers a very Happy New Year and a safe and healthy 2021.
