"We had an absolutely amazing time and I am so very thrilled to have these forev‐ er Irish family memories. I will not ever be able to stop talking about it!", she told IrishCentral.

"The Irish vacation was a highlight of my life and I am so grateful for your giveaway contest. I learned so many things about Ireland and myself. From the moment we boarded the flights and landed on Irish sod to every single mo‐ ment we were in Ireland, it was magical and surpassed all of my expectations."

Could you tell us about your Irish vaca‐ tion - what parts of Ireland did you visit and your most memorable moments? "We started in Dublin at the airport's car rental hire and we hit the ground run‐ ning with excitement! We realized we spread ourselves way too thin with our full itinerary of travel plans, so we slowed it down, which turned out to be just as amazing as trying to hit all of the destinations on the pre-planned list. In Dublin, we stayed in the quaint coas‐ tal town of Skerries and enjoyed lovely beach walks and we could hear the ocean waves all night from our accom‐ modation.

Memorable moments included the Ti‐ tanic Belfast Museum in Northern Ire‐ land, a bio-luminescent kayak nighttime excursion in Kerry, an amazing falconry and Afternoon Tea experience at Dro‐ moland Castle in Clare. A historical highlight was a visit to Ross Castle in Killarney, Kerry with our unforgettable tour guide.

We also visited Innisfallen Island in Ker‐ ry which was like stepping through a storybook! The island still has the ruins of the monks' monastery. The island has such beautiful scenery, nature, history, folklore, and fresh air in a peaceful, and secluded but walkable location. We had a short boat trip to and from the island, which also provided an opportunity to hear some tales about the island from our boat driver Declan."

Did you have a favorite Irish food expe‐ rience?

"The traditional Irish stew was so mag‐ nificent, and the full Irish breakfast every morning was my favorite to try at each location we stayed, and was always the best start of my day. Potato cakes were one of my favorites, and the fish and chips are always delicious at every stop and the hot daily soups are all won‐ derful with soda bread!"

If you were to return to Ireland where would you go?

There are so many wonderful options that it’s too di cult to say where but I would probably say Galway. There are loads of activities there and I adore the Connemara region and Gaeltacht areas. I am happy anywhere in Ireland and look forward to returning as soon as we can." This article is presented proudly in part‐ ne rs hip with Tourism Ireland.
