DO WE WANT THE SAME THINGS?

I am 32 and recently decided to take a break from my boyfriend after ten years together to try to decide what to do. I love him and want to have children with him, but he can’t make up his mind. One moment he says yes, the next no. I have discovered that he was unfaithful with a woman at work who has always fancied him. He said it was when we were on a break and happened only once, but I have looked at his emails and he has been in touch with her longer than that, sending flirty messages daily. He tells me that he wants me back, but he still sees this woman at work. He says he wants you back, but has he told you that he definitely wants to have children if you agree? I suspect not. He leapt into bed with another woman and still has a relationship with her. As they work together, would you really be able to trust him and not wonder what they might be getting up to? You have wasted more than enough time desperately hoping that he would have children with you. He could agree to, then change his mind again. It would be far better to end the relationship so that you are free to fall in love with someone who shares your desire to have a family.
