CREAMY CHICKEN PASTA

There’s no doubting that Heinz is an expert in tomatoes so it’s probably not surprising the brand has expanded into pasta sauces for those days when you just need convenienc­e. There are seven varieties: Tomato Sauce for Bolognese; Sundried Cherry Tomato & Basil; Tomato & Chilli’; Tomato, Mushroom & Bell Pepper; Tomato & Lentil Ragu; Mediterran­ean Veggies & Chunky Tomatoes; and Tomato, Grana Padano & Mascarpone. All bar the latter are suitable for vegans and all are gluten-free. They are made with with 100 per cent natural ingredient­s and contain no added sugar, and are priced from €2.99 at supermarke­ts nationwide. SERVES 4

1 jar of Heinz Tomato,

Grana Padano & Mascarpone Pasta Sauce 1 tbsp olive oil

1 knob of butter

3-4 chicken breasts (seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika)

METHOD

H Fry the chicken in some olive oil until fully cooked and remove from pan (approximat­ely 5 minutes on each side).

H Add a knob of butter and fry the onions, garlic, mushrooms and parsley until soft.

3 shallots, chopped

2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 punnet mushrooms, sliced 250g spaghetti

600ml water

Grated parmesan (as much as you’d like)

Fresh parsley and basil

Salt and pepper

H Add pasta, water and Heinz Tomato, Grana Padano & Mascarpone Pasta Sauce.

H Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasional­ly (add more water if it looks too dry).

H Once the pasta is cooked, add your parmesan, parsley, basil and season to taste.
