Poignant last text to her boyfriend

-

IT was the last message she would ever send to her boyfriend.

For just 30 minutes after writing an excited text that said simply, ‘I’m having so much fun’, Olivia Campbell became one of the 22 fatalities of the suicide bomb attack.

Yesterday, her boyfriend Lewis Brierley revealed her heartbreaking final words to him as he paid tribute to the 15-year-old music fan.

After Olivia failed to make contact following the atrocity, her family searched desperately for her for nearly 48 hours. They even went on TV to plead for any news about her.

But late on Tuesday night, they were dealt the shattering news that their ‘funny and beautiful girl’, who had hopes of becoming a pop star herself, was among the dead.

Next to a photo of her daughter, Olivia’s mother Charlotte Campbell posted on Facebook: ‘RIP my darling precious gorgeous girl Olivia Campbell taken far far too soon, go sing with the angels and keep smiling, mummy loves you so much.’

In a bitter twist, the teenager was not originally meant to be going to Monday’s concert.

But when a ticket became available at the last minute, she went along with friend Adam Lawler, who last night was still in a serious condition in hospital with life-changing injuries.

Olivia aspired to be a singer herself, having performed her favourite song, All Of Me by John Legend, on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2015.

Yesterday, her stepfather Paul Hodgson, 47, who said a recording of the song will be played at her funeral, said: ‘She would always be a bit shy when she first started singing but then she’d just belt it out. She was brilliant.’

Yesterday, Olivia’s boyfriend wrote on Facebook: ‘I loved her so much that I made sure every night... I would send her a paragraph to let her know just how much she meant to me and I only hope she knows I meant every word of it.’
