Trump’s model staffer

THE new White House press secretary, following the departures of Sean Spicer and Anthony Scaramucci, is a 28-year-old former Ralph Lauren model named Hope Hicks. Ms Hicks, pictured, seems to love very short flippy skirts (the kind with hems that billow upwards in the slightest breeze) and very high heels. She loves these things almost as much as the ‘brilliant, magnetic, amazing’ Donald Trump. White House sources have described her as ‘untouchable’. Given that she works for a man who has boasted about groping women, let’s hope that’s meant literally.

IT IS dreadful that Josephine Pender went to her grave without seeing the man who murdered her daughter Fiona, and her unborn grandchild, brought to justice. She knows who he is, and has begged him to tell her where to find Fiona’s body. Gardaí know who he is – their statements on Fiona’s disappearance have flatly contradicted his account – and his neighbours know what he and his family have done. He may have escaped jail but, if there is any justice beyond the courtroom, this crime will haunt his family for generations to come.
