WINE SELECTION

An elegant list that covers all the bases but not exactly coming down with bargains. Wines by the glass start at €7, by the bottle at €27. Highlights, for me, include chunky Blomac Minervois at €28, Camplazens La Clape at €32, Quinta Cabriz Dao at €36, Dr Loosen Riesling at €32. Noval 10 Year Old Tawny looks good at €7.50 for a glass.

THE SMART MONEY

The early bird, Tuesday to Thursday all night, is €25 for two courses, €29.50 for three. (Friday and Saturday, too, before 18.45).
