THE STORY OF ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES Tuesday - 8pm, Gold

WE all guffawed when we heard that Fifty Ways To Kill Your Mammy was big in Iran... and Baz and Nancy rubbed their hands with glee. Classic comedy Only Fools also struck it big abroad and in the focus for tonight’s reflections, we see Boycie (John Challis) on Serbian TV.

BAD MOVE Wednesday - 8pm, UTV

BOYCIE, you might remember, took the ill-fated decision to move his family from Peckham to the country for The Green Green Grass ... which triggered a load of obvious jokes and plots. As well as spin-offs rarely working with the possible exception of Frasier, ‘country v city’ sitcoms are also rarely a good idea. Let’s hope Bad Move breaks the mould. The dry and sardonic Steve (Jack Dee) and Nicky (Kerry Godiman) make the move.

QUEEN OF KATWE Thursday - 8pm, Sky Disney

FROM the outside looking in chess seems to be a bit of a male bastion. So this feelgood film acts as a clarion call to break the chess ceiling if you will. Phiona Mutesi, a girl from the Ugandan slums becomes the queen of the board. A true story, Madina Natwanga (pictured) stars with David Oyelowo and Lupita Nyong’o in support.

THE LIVE LOUNGE SHOW Friday - 8pm, BBC4

FLEETWOOD Mac (the Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham line-up) had a distinctive sound that is difficult to cover, although it didn’t stop The Corrs trying. To be fair there are worse versions of Dreams. Harry Styles (pictured) tries his hand at The Chain. We’re also in for a treat with songs from The Killers and London Grammar (the latter I must confess to not having swotted up on).
