PLANT MONSTER INVASION

‘THE Plant Monster Invasion was something that Faolan and I had brainstormed, letting our imaginations run wild. After we finished the semi-final we said, “Let’s just go and build our model”. We built it in time for the Brick Live show in London last July. The idea behind it is this: a crazy, alien plant monster erupts through the centre of town and all the buildings are infested with tendrils. Faolan built the DC comics superheroes who come to the town’s rescue. We made it a 3D piece. It’s quirky, fun, and architecturally beautiful.’
