THREE THINGS DUBLIN MUST DO TO WIN
1
THEY need to win the aerial battle in their own square. Kildare’s Paddy Brophy exposed a vulnerability in their full-back line and a poor Tyrone were even able to do it when Colm Cavanagh went in there, winning a late penalty, It is why Mayo may be tempted to put Aidan O’Shea on the edge of the square for spells tomorrow.
2
THEY need to set the early tone by getting a goal, which is so often the lifeblood of this Dublin team. The longer Dublin remain goal-less and the game is tight, the greater chance it will become a dogfight, which will enhance Mayo’s prospects of winning.
3
DUBLIN need to be ready for the unexpected. Mayo have been very good at keeping teams guessing all summer. The Dubs need to be prepared for every eventuality that Mayo throw at them.
