With baby No.3 on way, that’s as crowded as it will get in the Corden carpool

HE recently announced his wife Julia Carey is expecting a baby girl. And ahead of their little one’s arrival in December, James Corden believes it is probably time to put the brakes on adding to their brood further.

Speaking backstage at his US chatshow The Late Late Show, the 39year-old presenter – famous for his Carpool Karaoke sketches with celebrities – revealed: ‘I said we would stop at number two and now we’ve got another one. So I think this is the last.’

Corden, who shares son Max, six, and daughter Carey, two, with his other half, is thrilled with the upcoming new addition to his family He added: ‘It’s a girl and I’ve already got a girl so it won’t be too much of a surprise. We are very excited.’

He and his wife Julia, who is five months along with baby number three, made the announcement they were expecting a baby girl at the recent Primetime Emmy Awards.

The US-based British host couldn’t help but dote on his glowing other half, pictured, placing a tender hand on her beautiful baby bump while giggling and beaming brightly.

Speaking to Extra host Mario Lopez on the red carpet, the largerthan-life host said: ‘She’ll be arriving Christmas – we’re very excited. It will be great, lovely. We’re having a little girl, it’s gonna be terrific.’

And while three will be a crowd in the Corden carpool when it comes to the school runs, he didn’t fully rule out having more children in the future. He said: ‘We said it was done after two, so who knows?’

At the Emmys, Corden admitted he was desperate to find some snacks to keep his spouse happy throughout the evening. He told E! News: ‘That’s all I’m really doing, I walk around thinking, “Where could I hide snacks?” Because she’s going to get hungry every seven minutes.’

When told he was a good husband for considering the snack situation, James admitted he was just trying to keep himself out of trouble.

He laughed: ‘I don’t know about that. It’s just I will face the wrath if she’s not fed... I found her a nice seat so she’s OK.’
