BITS AND PIECES

The tips and tricks that will make you happy this week

-

CHOCOLATE HEAVEN

LIKE we need another excuse to gorge on chocolate... but just in case, luxury chocolatier and cocoa grower Hotel Chocolat has opened at Dundrum Town Centre and it’s simply divine. Not only can you buy rare and delicious chocolate and cocoa condiments, but you can also take the weight off your feet and indulge in drinks like Coffee Chocolat Lattes and teaolat (that’s chocolate tea). Yum.

TOY SHOW CHIC

PENNEYS and RTÉ have teamed up for the Late Late Toy Show collection, which will be on sale in Penneys stores nationwide from November 7. Penneys will donate €75,000 to Temple Street Foundation and CMRF Crumlin, so there’s no excuse not to buy that owl blanket or novelty jumper!

WE HEART THIS

THOSE fond of a bit of bling should check out awardwinning Irish jeweller Mairead De Blaca’s collections, which are now available online. We especially love this stylish heart pendant (right, €149). See mairead deblacajewellery.com. Time to hint at a Christmas pressie perhaps?

DEVILISH DINNERS

PUMPKINS are not just for carving — at Saba this week they are at the heart of their seasonal menu. Until November 1, chef Tao will make delicious dishes using the vegetable for dishes like Gai Phad Fuktong (a chicken dish) and Thai-inspired Hereford Rib Eye Steak. See sabadublin.com for more seasonal delights.

MAGIC TAN FIXERS

AUSSIE brand Black Magic Tan has come to the rescue of patchy maidens everywhere. We love the Body Blending Brush (€15) and the Foaming Tan Remover (left, €18). For the full tanning range, go to blackmagictan.ie
