Don’t look back in anger... Noel and Liam make up

-

LIAM Gallagher has confirmed he has finally reconciled with his estranged brother Noel after years of fighting.

Taking to his Twitter page, the 45-year-old revealed the pair were on good terms again, after his older sibling ‘reached out to him’ ahead of the festive season.

Liam has been at war with his brother, 50, for well over a decade – and the pair, pictured in 1998, left, have endured a number of very public rows since their band Oasis split in 2009. To the delight of fans, Liam wrote: ‘I wanna say Happy Xmas to team NG it’s been a great year thanks for everything looking forward to seeing you tmorrow AS YOU WERE LG x.’

Fans immediately began to speculate whether team ‘NG’ referred to his brother, and flooded the post with messages.

One fan expressed their scepticism by responding: ‘ ........ Team who? Your not going to have a meltdown on here come Christmas day are you Liam when NG doesnt reach out to you.’

However, this led Liam to confirm the happy news once and for all, writing: ‘He’s already reached out. We’re all good again.’

It was only last month that Liam admitted he missed his brother, and that he hates taking to the stage without him. Speaking to FAULT magazine, he said: ‘I don’t want to be solo. I don’t want to do it on my own – I’m not a guitar player or a prolific songwriter.

‘I miss my brother the way he was back then and I miss singing those great songs that we all made great.’

He confirmed that wish to the Sunday Mirror a week later, stating: ‘I hope we make up. Not just for Oasis but for brothers.’
