Dundalk add Adorjan to their ranks

÷DUNDALK have confirmed the loan signing of former Hungary Under-21 internatio­nal and Liverpool midfielder Krisztian Adorjan. The 25-year-old arrives from Italian Serie B side Novara and has penned a deal until July. ÷CYRUS CHRISTIE completed a last-minute move to Fulham late on Wednesday night. The Republic of Ireland internatio­nal only joined Middlesbro­ugh from Derby County last summer but agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Craven Cottage for a fee in the region of £4 million. Fulham are currently in the Championsh­ip play-off spots and Christie has eyes on pushing for promotion to the Premier League. ‘It’s the dream for most players,’ the 25yeard-old admitted. ‘There’s a couple months left of the season and we’ve just got to put our all into it.’

ARSENAL yesterday confirmed the news that Mesut Ozil has signed a new three-and-a-halfyear deal at the club. The Germany internatio­nal will earn up to £350,000 a week.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION will wear special shirts in memory of Cyrille Regis at tomorrow’s home game against Southampto­n. The league sanctioned the club’s request to feature a motif of Regis celebratin­g one of his 112 West Brom goals. There will also be a minute’s applause at the side’s first home game since his death last month.

BLACKPOOL’S owners will go to court on Monday after a deadline to pay £10million to former director Valeri Belokon passed. Owen Oyston is trying to sell assets in a bid to retain ownership after he was told to pay Belokon £31m. Oyston has applied for an extension, which the UK High Court will hear next week.
