TOTTENHAM striker Harry Kane was released by Arsenal as an eight-year-old because he was a ‘bit chubby’. Former Arsenal academy boss Liam Brady admits the club made a mistake in allowing him to leave. ‘He was a bit chubby, he wasn’t very athletic but we made a mistake,’ Brady told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. ‘But Tottenham sent him out on loan to lower division clubs three or four times as well.’ Kane’s Wembley winner on Saturday took his tally to seven goals in seven Premier League north London derbies.
