I did not end Chris’s marriage, says J-Law

JENNIFER Lawrence has broken her silence on the false speculation that she had a role to play in Chris Pratt’s split from wife Anna Faris.

The 27-year-old Oscar winner opened the KISS FM chat with a discussion on the weirdest rumours she had heard about herself, while also commenting on speculation about her love life.

She also denied rumours she had ever been romantically involved with Pratt, both pictured, saying: ‘I never had an affair with Chris Pratt on Passengers. That’s a good one… I mean they got a divorce like two years later and everybody was like [shouting] Jennifer Lawrence! And I was like what the… what I’m in Montreal two years later.’

Rumours swirled in 2016 that Chris and Jennifer had hooked up while filming their sci-fi film Passengers.

Though the claims were strongly denied by all parties involved, Anna opened up about how the rumours affected her in an interview in December 2016, saying she felt ‘incredibly insecure’ and ‘hurt’ by the speculation.

Silver Linings Playbook actress Jennifer – who is currently starring in spy film Red Sparrow – was also linked to Brad Pitt, 54, with sources claiming Brad ‘felt he had landed the woman of his dreams’ before his spokesman debunked the claims.

She said: ‘Well this isn’t weird. It was super flattering but at one point I was just like “dating Brad Pitt”. We were having like “secret rendezvous”. You know that was weird.’
