Deadly building collapse probed

AN ‘intentional’ attack could be the reason an apartment building collapsed in western Poland at the weekend, leaving five people dead and 21 injured, prosecutors have said.

The building collapsed on Sunday in Poznan, most probably as a result of an explosion, authorities said.

Prosecutors would not confirm media reports that one of the victims had been murdered before the collapse, but also would not exclude the possibility that the building could have faced an intentional attack.
