Angela’s delight at her new arrival

ANGELA Scanlon has told of her joy after giving birth to a baby girl, Ruby Ellen. The 34-year-old from Meath shared a picture of the newborn’s feet surrounded by teddy bears and blankets. The BBC’s One Show host only announced the birth yesterday though Ruby made her entrance into the world more than a week ago. Angela wrote on Instagram: ‘Ruby Ellen Horgan… Born 25.02.18 at 3.29am – she is a dreamboat & we are so happy this little woman is ours.’ And many of her 95,000 followers rushed to congratulate her and husband Roy Horgan on the new arrival, including This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby. Angela, pictured left, was most recently spotted on the red carpet of the National Television Awards at the end of January where she dressed her bump beautifully in a print halter neck Missoni dress. The presenter had only revealed that she was expecting before Christmas when she said she hoped the child was a redhead.
