PEEP when using prepacked sterile dressings

DIRECT pressure is placed over the wound using the sterile dressing; the dressing can be held in place with a bandage, and should be elevated if possible (e.g. a wound to a limb). If bleeding continues apply another dressing over the first.

DO NOT REMOVE THE INITIAL DRESSING.
