Saoirse’s coiffeur truly is a cut above

IN one of the more breathless pieces of Oscar trivia, Saoirse Ronan’s hairdresser revealed details of the haircut the Carlow star received ahead of the Hollywood event. ‘Saoirse is a true collaborator,’ said Adir Abergel, ‘always willing to change and morph.’ I’ve had many haircuts in my time, but I can’t honestly say that I collaborated in any, or that any of them ‘morphed’ me. Though I did once have a dodgy perm that made me look like something from The Muppet Show, if that counts.
