Oscar ‘theft’ man charged

A 47-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with stealing Frances McDormand’s Oscar.

LA County prosecutors said Terry Bryant was charged yesterday with stealing the statuette McDormand, pictured, won for best actress, from the official Oscars after-party. If found guilty, he faces three years in jail.

Video footage appears to show Bryant walking with the statuette out of the party and holding it up proudly to photographers waiting outside.
