1. Call for help (112 or 999) as immediate emergency treatment will be required. 2. Sit the patient down and encourage the patient to use his/her prescribed medicine. 3. If the patient is unable to administer the medicine himself / herself, administer it if you are trained and authorised to do so (Refer to PHECC Medication­s for Listed Organisati­ons for more informatio­n). 4. Administra­tion instructio­ns with the epinephrin­e auto-injector should be followed. 5. Loosen tight clothing and cover victim with a blanket if required. 6. Monitor vital signs. 7. You may need to resuscitat­e.
