Treatment
1. Call for help (112 or 999) as immediate emergency treatment will be required. 2. Sit the patient down and encourage the patient to use his/her prescribed medicine. 3. If the patient is unable to administer the medicine himself / herself, administer it if you are trained and authorised to do so (Refer to PHECC Medications for Listed Organisations for more information). 4. Administration instructions with the epinephrine auto-injector should be followed. 5. Loosen tight clothing and cover victim with a blanket if required. 6. Monitor vital signs. 7. You may need to resuscitate.
