Knifeman runs amok in Vienna

SEVERAL people were injured in a knife attack on the streets of Vienna, according to Austrian media sources.

News website heute.at said the attack happened yesterday evening when a man with a knife randomly attacked pedestrians near the capital’s famous Prater park.

Citing a police spokesman, the Austria Press Agency said three people were seriously injured and police are still searching for the attacker.

A motive for the attack was not immediately known.
