MEN TO WATCH
MANAGER Andy McEntee (Meath)
WHEN he got the job of raising Meath back onto its feet, Andy McEntee did not promise miracles. But the expectation was that the county would soon be back going toe-to-toe with Dublin. Two double-digit defeats to Kildare left everyone in Meath in no doubt that the road back to respectability would be arduous. 2018 was supposed to be an improvement and that’s why after heavy back-to-back losses to Cavan and Tipperary in Division 2 of the National League the pressure is now mounting on McEntee to get Meath winning any game. Tomorrow, they meet Cork in Navan, and McEntee and Meath need both points for all sorts of reasons.
