WE’RE getting to the business end of the celebrity dancing contest – and tonight it’s Broadway Week. Following a tense dance-off last week, Alannah Beirne became the latest celebrity to leave the competition as the judges chose Erin McGregor (pictured, with dance partner Ryan McShane) to stay in the show after impressing them with her waltz. Olympic walker Rob Heffernan and comedian Deirdre O’Kane seem to be the duo to beat at the moment, but can one of the others – say, Erin, Anna Geary or Jake Carter – make their way up the leader board in tonight’s quarter-final? As always judges Loraine Barry, Brian Redmond and Julian Benson will be casting a critical eye over proceedings, while Nicky Byrne and Amanda Byram are on hosting duties.
