DUFFUS LEAVES IT LATE FOR WATERFORD WINNER

COURTNEY DUFFUS scored a sensationa­l 90th minute winner as high-flying Waterford beat Sligo Rovers at the Showground­s. Gavin Holohan superbly headed home the opener on 34 minutes but Rovers were much improved in the second half, and Morgan equalised at the back post following a scramble in the box. However, Duffus had the final say against the run of play.

Then on 14 minutes Bohs allowed Simon Madden claim a loose ball and he spotted Dean Clarke who tapped home for what proved to be the winner.
