Lawyer denies stealing bikes

A BARRISTER denied stealing two bicycles worth €1,600 when she appeared in court yesterday.

Shauna Roe, 25, is accused of stealing the bicycles from Allied Logistics at Second Avenue, Cookstown, Tallaght, Dublin, on December 5 last.

She appeared on bail before Judge Paula Murphy at Tallaght District Court yesterday, and said she was pleading not guilty. Sergeant Eithne Madden said there were three State witnesses in the case, and that it would take 45 minutes to hear.

Judge Murphy remanded Ms Roe, of The Commons, Duleek, Co. Meath, on bail to a date in May for hearing.
