Who can we trust?

THE politicians want the people of Ireland to trust them to safeguard the law on abortion for all time.

Who can we trust with the life of the unborn? Politicians cannot be trusted even to pay their bar bill in the Houses of the Oireachtas. They will do or say anything to get a vote. I have experienced this myself.

The only place where the Eight Amendment and the life of the mother and unborn baby is safe is when it is enshrined in the Constitution.
