DUBLIN

Actor Liam Cunningham is the Grand Marshal of the parade, which starts at noon on Parnell Square and ends on Kevin Street. Star Wars actor Mark Hamill will also be there, so the force is strong this Paddy’s Day in the capital.

GALWAY

Galway city’s parade starts at 11.30am on Dominick’s Street and finishes on Prospect Hill at 1pm.

LIMERICK

Ireland’s largest regional St Patrick’s day Parade will set off at 11.30am from O’Connell Avenue.

OFFALY

Tullamore’s parade starts at 11.30am on High Street.

CLARE

The parade in Ennis kicks off at 11am with over 50 groups, representi­ng many aspects of life in the town.

KILKENNY

Kilkenny’s parade starts at 1pm at St. John’s Church and will finish at Market Yard.

KERRY

Dingle gets a head start on the rest of the country with their Fife and Drum Band parade at dawn. Another parade at noon with plenty to see and do.

DONEGAL

In Donegal Town, get down to the Diamond for a 1pm start.

CORK

With a start time of 1pm, the parade runs from the South Mall to the Grand Parade, along St Patrick’s Street and finishes at Merchant’s Quay.

WATERFORD

Ireland’s oldest city will kick festivitie­s off on The Mall at 12.30pm and will finish up at the end of Parnell Street.

WESTMEATH

The Athlone St Patrick’s Day Parade will start at 2.30pm from Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

CAVAN

Bailieboro­ugh’s revelry starts at 2pm.

WICKLOW

If the hullabaloo in the capital proves a bit much, Wicklow Town celebrates every March 17 in style. Parade starts at 1pm from Whitegates.

CARLOW

The parade starts at 3.30pm in Carlow Town and will travel up Kennedy Avenue stopping for the National Anthem at Hadden’s carpark and then will loop around bringing it back to where it started.

WEXFORD

The Wexford parade starts at 1.45pm, in the Maudlintow­n area.

SLIGO

The specially-themed parade marks the 100th anniversar­y of women being granted the right to vote. It kicks off at noon, from Mail Coach Road.

MAYO

Celebratio­ns in Ballina start from 4pm, ensuring no clash with other parades.

ROSCOMMON

Boyle’s parade starts at 3.30pm from the Mockmoyne area.

TYRONE

The Irish flag might be banned from Strabane’s festivitie­s, but that isn’t likely to dampen the craic. It will depart from Dock Street at 2pm.

TIPPERARY

Tipperary Town’s parade kicks off at 2pm sharp with an ‘Irish Tradition and Culture’ theme.

LAOIS

The Portarling­ton parade starts at Station Road at 3.30pm.

LONGFORD

The parade starts in the town at 1pm and will finish up at Kilashee Street.

DOWN/ARMAGH

Armagh and Down, the heartland of St Patrick, host an annual Home of St Patrick Festival over a 17day period packed with family-friendly activities, concerts, and talks to ensure everyone gets involved in this exciting time of the year.

ANTRIM

Belfast will be buzzing from 11.30am, as the parade snakes its way through the streets to Custom House Square.

DERRY

The parade has a new route this year, departing from Bishop Street carpark at 2pm,

LOUTH

The Dundalk parade’s theme this year is ‘Dream Big’. It will kick off at 1pm, departing from Philip Street and finishing on Stapleton Drive.

KILDARE

In Maynooth, the medieval-themed parade takes place at Greenfield Shopping Centre, Straffan Road at 11am, before travelling to the square.

MONAGHAN

Starting at 3pm, Monaghan town’s parade organisers promise a fun and inclusive community event. Prizes will be awarded for best float and best marching band.

FERMANAGH

Enniskille­n’s parade theme is ‘Pages Through The Ages’ and starts at Lakeland Forum at 3.30pm.

LEITRIM

At 12.45pm in Carrick-On-Shannon, expect a colourful mix of floats, costumes, and street performers.

MEATH

Navan’s float parade on the river Boyne will kick off at 2.30pm.
