Mariah sexually harassed me, says her ex-manager

- Mail Foreign Service

MARIAH Carey’s former manager is threatening to sue her – alleging the singer sexually harassed her.

Stella Bulochnikov filed documents in New York warning of her intention to seek damages.

They claim the American diva ‘did sexual things’ in her presence and would appear naked in front of her.

Ms Bulochnikov, who was fired by Ms Carey in November, also alleges the chart-topping star is addicted to alcohol, prescription pills and marijuana, said Hollywood news website TMZ.

Ms Carey, 48, who revealed last week she suffers from bipolar disorder, strongly denied the claims, with her team calling them ‘baseless’.

Ms Bulochnikov worked with Ms Carey, who is worth an estimated €420million, for several years.

A joint statement issued in November said the pair parted ways for their ‘mutual best interests’.

It also said they remained partners in other businesses. However, Ms Bulochnikov now alleges she was dismissed unfairly halfway through a three-year contract, a claim that is disputed by Ms Carey.

TMZ reports that a ‘huge amount of money’ is being sought for missed payments as well as for the alleged breaches of contract.

Ms Bulochnikov’s lawyers threatened that they would move to a ‘blockbuster exposé lawsuit’ if the singer does not settle the claim.

A spokesman for Ms Carey told E! News: ‘Stella Bulochnikov was terminated from employment as Mariah’s manager due to failure to perform her job effectively and ill-serving her client. Stella was not under contract for employment.

‘She has been spreading false rumours to any media outlet that will publish them. We won’t respond to lies and threats.’
