IRELAND’S DEEP ATLANTIC Tomorrow - RTÉ 1, 9.30pm
PART of a new season of nature programmes called Our Wild Island, this two-part documentary follows underwater cameraman Ken O’Sullivan on the trail of whales, sharks and various other forms of ocean life. ‘There are hundreds of thousands of species of flora and fauna in our seas,’ says O’Sullivan. ‘Seventeen species of whale have been seen in Ireland we encountered and documented six of these during production.’
ALL BETS ARE OFF Monday - RTÉ1, 9.35pm

THE SPLIT Tuesday - BBC1, 9pm
THIS six-part drama follows a family of lawyers who dominate London’s divorce courts. The first episode sees Hannah Defoe (Nicola Walker) having what could only be described as a rather testing day. The cast includes Meera Syal (Goodness Gracious Me, The Kumars At No. 42), Stephen Tompkinson (Ballykissangel), (pictured) and Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, those corny adverts for Nescafé Gold Blend).
JEFF BECK: STILL ON THE RUN Friday - BBC4, 9pm

This profile features contributions from friends and admirers such as Rod Stewart, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Slash, the chap from Guns N’ Roses with the unfortunate nickname.
