4. THE CANNABIS FARMER
Tyler, 25, is an Oregon cannabis farmer who plans to introduce a new strain of the drug, dubbed Markle Sparkle, that would retail for around €230 an ounce. Mr Dooley has partnered with his mother to launch firm Royally Grown, which could see the family make millions from this and merchandise after the royal wedding.
WHILE a question mark still hangs over her father’s attendance, Meghan Markle’s extended family have already flown into London to cash in on a wedding they’ve not even been invited to.
Tracy Dooley, who was once married to Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr, arrived this week at Heathrow with their two sons, Tyler, 25, and Thomas, 26.
The casually dressed family from Oregon were seen pushing trolleys loaded with no fewer than 13 suitcases between them through the airport, before being met by a driver.
The family have been enlisted as ‘special correspondents’ for ITV’s Good Morning Britain, and are expected to report from Windsor. Ms Dooley has previously told the programme that she has not seen Ms Markle for 20 years.
The Dooleys took to Facebook, however, to announce their presence in the capital. Ms Dooley posted pictures of London landmarks, including the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye, writing: ‘We’re here! Yay!’
Her son Tyler uploaded an image of the Imperial War Museum, as well as a photograph of the inside of a hotel room.
‘Just touched down in London!!! Man what a journey so far,’ he wrote. ‘We’re safe and sound!’
The family is thought to be staying in a £70-a-night (€80) hotel in Waterloo.
Tyler Dooley works as a cannabis farmer in Oregon – a state where marijuana is legal – and has said he plans to create a heady hybrid called Markle’s Sparkle.
Meanwhile, his big brother Thomas works as fast-food chain restaurant manager. Both claim Ms Markle, 36, used to babysit for them as a child.
Their father, Mr Markle Jr, 51, was initially supportive of his half-sister when news of her romance with Prince Harry broke, saying she would be a credit to the royal family.
But he has since sparked headlines over a series of drunken incidents, including one last year in which he was accused of putting a gun to his girlfriend’s head during a domestic row.
In recent weeks he also come out with a string of bitter comments, accusing Ms Markle, to whom he has not spoken for more than three years, of abandoning her family and urging Harry to ditch his ‘conceited fiancée’.
