Doonbeg worth up to €42million

DONALD Trump’s golf course in Doonbeg, Co. Clare is now worth $25million to $50million (€21million to €42million) according to his latest financial disclosure with the US Office of Government Ethics.

If accurate, it is a big jump on the estimated €15m he paid for it in 2014.

The disclosure also shows that Doonbeg generated income of just over $14million from ‘golf-related revenue’ in 2017.

Mr Trump is listed as being the president of the Doonbeg holding company from January 31, 2014, to January 19, 2017 – the day before he was sworn in as US President.
