Barking mad over dog café’s closure

-

THOUSANDS of dog-lovers are calling for a pooch-friendly café to be reopened.

Paws has closed at Ardgillan Castle in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, leaving pet owners angry about the loss. The castle is in a public park run by Fingal County Council, which is being urged to help.

More than 10,000 people had signed an online petition by yesterday evening in a bid to get it re-opened. One dog-owner wrote on the website: ‘There are so few dog-friendly facilities available, please don’t take away one of the few we have.’
