Trump ready for Kim talks

DONALD Trump, pictured, is ‘ready for tough negotiations’ with Kim Jong-un despite North Korea threatening to scrap the pair’s historic meeting, the White House insisted yesterday.

The Trump administration said it remained hopeful the summit – which will discuss dismantling Mr Kim’s nuclear missiles programme – will go ahead on June 12. Mr Kim takes exception to current joint US-South Korea military exercises.
