Trying to get in touch with Ariana... she’s been engaged for two weeks

IT was revealed this week that Ariana Grande has become engaged to Pete Davidson, and while details are just trickling out about the pop star and funnyman’s betrothal, it turns out the engagement is hardly new.

The No Tears Left To Cry singer, pictured right, was already seen wearing her massive diamond engagement ring, below, on June 2 at Wango Tango in LA.

Ariana flashed the rock when on stage but fans thought perhaps it was costume jewellery.

The Big Bang singer had only been with the comedian for a few weeks at that point.

This means that she has been engaged for nearly two weeks already.

Details are already emerging about the 24year-old ’s dazzling 3.3carat pear-cut engagement ring, which reportedly set the comic back $93,000 (€79,000), according to E! News.

The piece was designed by jeweller Greg Yuna, who revealed that Davidson called him ‘at the end of May’ and made him promise to ‘keep it a secret.’ He didn’t tell Yuna who the ring was for ,however.

‘Pete called me at the end of May and said, “Look, I’m getting a ring. This is what I want”,’ he said.

‘I told him that I had the right ring for him.

‘He didn’t tell me who it was for but told me to keep it a secret. He didn’t tell me anything about it.’

Yuna said it took two weeks for him to complete the 3.3-carat VVS1 clarity ring set in a platinum band.

Though the couple worked together

years ago, they only got romantic in May. She had just broken up with rapper Mac Miller, and he had ended things with Larry David’s daughter Cazzie. The two could not have been together romantically for more than a few weeks before he popped the question.

She also had the ring on when she dined with family on Sunday.

The pop star seemed to confirm that the two are set to wed when she took to Twitter.

When a fan told the Florida native that the SNL star needs to know that when he marries her, he’s also marrying her following, the beauty said that he knew this already.

It all began when the fan wrote: ‘I hope [Pete] knows he is maRRYING US AS WELL.’ Ariana responded to the fan, ‘HAHAHAHAHAHH HES BEEN BRIEFED.’ Her pack took that as an official confirmation of the engagement news.
