BACK in the day, it was bad boy Noel Gallagher getting up close and personal with an older Tony Blair. Now Bono, it seems, has nailed his colours to the Fine Gael mast, speaking in praise of a Taoiseach and Tánaiste who are both much younger than he is. Add Justin Trudeau and Emmanuel Macron to the mix, and you’d have to ask the question: is politics the new rock ’n’ roll?
